Huh, never would have guessed it was just sitting in the middle of LA suburbia like that.

The Church from the film An American Crime is located at this address 507 W. 49th Place Los Angeles, CA 90037.
Also located in LA is the School It's location is 600 South McCadden Place Los Angeles, CA 90010. This film has always stuck with me. Even though this film could not show what really happened. It would be unbearable to watch if it was filmed that way. What Sylvia Likens went through was unhumain, barbaric, evil. So please remember always look out for your family n friends.

Yeah, I read the whole story twice, and I kept thinking about it for some time. It's not something you can simply ignore, it's hard to get it off your head.

It's hard to grasp how something like this is even possible.

Find a movie location is very charming, if you search in the areas around Nova Scotia, you can find many locations of movies, specially of the firsts Ellen Page's movies. Obviously you need a time to search this locations, and personally my business don't allow to do nothing about that
.

Yeah, it does, but it isn't for sale either. It is an old building, it is not surprising that it looks that way as it must cost some amount of money to take care of it.vlad wrote:From the conditions seems uninhabited
It is a Multi-Family Residential with seven bedrooms and three bathrooms.
It's not small, but from what i've seen in the movie, it must have been very crowded shooting the scenes inside the house. A lot of actors, the crew and the equipment.

Sure, I saw this house in the movie "An American Crime", but honestly, didn't seems so big. And as I recall, didn't seems so comforting house. Was decadent and ancient, for sure not the house of my dreams.

Nevertheless, I think it was a really fitting location. It was kinda run down and felt somehow like a dark place, like the unspeakable things that happened there.
I guess most of you already checked the other locations, but for those who didn't: here are some pictures of the church and of the school.
The school seems to be the only place that is still in use.
