Alright, so I've seen this floating around the internet and I thought I should share my findings. Apparently, there is a rumor that Alexander Skarsgard & Ellen are supposed to be in a "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie?
Alright. First off, I hate Fifty Shades of Grey. I think it's a waste of a "book", and personally....I would feel very uncomfortable seeing Ellen in that sort of a role. It just doesn't seem like something that would suit her, you know?
Anyway, here is the link for the article:

In other news, someone is saying that Ellen is preggers with ASkars' baby? Okay guys, are we seriously this bored or.....?
Guys, I think we should talk about this...

If you read the 'article' more carefully you'll note that it says that 'fans' of some two bit wordy smut want to see those two in those roles. It says absolutely nothing about anything real. I'm sure you could find people convinced that any two random people would be perfect for whatever roles in some theoretical upcoming movie. Honestly, who gives a rats ass what they think?

I read an excerpt from it just for shits & giggles...and it was so bad I couldn't get through a page without crying from laughing so hard.

It's called marketing. It's all about hypes.Erchamion wrote:If it is so bad, then why is it so popular on the markets? And if I'm right, it is one of the bestsellers. Why?
Someone makes something, regardless of how good or bad it is as soon as it get's some attention people will buy it.
If it's good, people buy it because it's supposed to be good. If it's bad, people buy to see if it's actually that bad or to see how bad it really is.
I'm pretty sure many of the people who bought the book threw it away after a couple of pages. But that still counts as a sold book.
That's how trash becomes a "bestseller".
And finally there are the people who just buy the bestseller because it's a bestseller, with a "it has to be the bestseller for a reason" kind of attitude.
Beware! Reading jeopardizes stupidity!

Also in this case, because it's racy. People hear it's practically porn, so they have to check it out for themselves.

I can understand the reason now.bluetoes591 wrote:Also in this case, because it's racy. People hear it's practically porn, so they have to check it out for themselves.
Before this, there is the issue above. If there isn't, people wouldn't buy a bad book just because to see if it is actually bad. Otherwise, all bad books would be bestsellers. ^^plexus wrote:And finally there are the people who just buy the bestseller because it's a bestseller, with a "it has to be the bestseller for a reason" kind of attitude.
