Tis a shame, fantastic work by Ellen and a very interesting movie..

I'd recommend dgetting a free trial of Netflix and streaming it. That is if you can't find a DVD or don't have th money.

Great idea HeartHer, I justed signed up for the Netflix free trial. The movie apparently is not available for streaming, but I put it at the #1 position on the queue.

Huh that's interesting, I watched it through streaming a few weeks ago. If you really like it don't forget to support it and actually buy the DVD :).

Finally saw Hard Candy, now I can actually legitimately say I'm a huge fan of Ellen Page without any qualifications :longtongue: .

I'm sure 99% of users on this board have seen it, but since this isn't a forum about HC I'll put it in Spoilers just in case :).

In my list of Ellen movies I'd have it sit in a comfortable 3rd, right below Juno and Inception. I will definitely pick it up on Blu-Ray when it comes out.

I just watched Ellen's SNL episode via Netflix streaming. It was absolutely hilarious   ! My favorites were the baby shop and lesbian concert skits.

The DVD (and future Blu-Ray) have a fantastic audio commentary from Ellen and Patrick. My favorite movie of all time is actually this commentary for pure, concentrated Ellen along with the movie visuals :D

I watched Mouth to Mouth, I Downloaded A Ghost, and Tracey Fragments this week (thank you Netflix). I loved Tracey Fragments and will definitely buy it on DVD. I also liked the other two but I think one viewing is probably enough for now.

Now I have enough to rank a Top 10:
1. Hard Candy
2. Inception
3. Juno
4. Tracey Fragments
5. Smart People
6. Whip It
7. An American Crime
8. Mouth to Mouth
9. Peacock
10. I Downloaded a Ghost

Well, she is in the first 8 episodes of the 13 episode first season so it might be worth it to own the first season.

I agree with Milo, just buy the whole first season, its worth it.

If you are patient they go on sale at Amazon Canada once in a while, I got my set for $19.99.

Although technically she is featured in archive footage in the very last episode. But it's a terrible episode and the footage is stuff lifted directly from the episodes she was in in season 1 anyway.
In the country dead bodies live in swamps and ditches and shallow graves. A man dumps the body of a girl in a ditch. The body rotts melts into slime. Flowers pop up where the body lies, seeds fly out of the flowers and a bee sucks the flowers and makes honey. Then the family of the girl buys the honey from the store. And the family eats the girl.
