Just noticed the German releases of SUPER and there's 2 editions. One which appears to be the usual release with some seriously amazing artwork, and the other labeled as a 'Mediabook Edition'. Is there any major differences between the two?

I think it's about a €2 price difference so it's nothing to fuss about, and the cheaper one does have better artwork but if the mediabook edition is particularly awesome I'll look into it. :D
In the country dead bodies live in swamps and ditches and shallow graves. A man dumps the body of a girl in a ditch. The body rotts melts into slime. Flowers pop up where the body lies, seeds fly out of the flowers and a bee sucks the flowers and makes honey. Then the family of the girl buys the honey from the store. And the family eats the girl.

I believe (and hope) the publisher has interchanged the artworks and the Mediabook edition comes with the "better" one :D

Yes, there is a difference. The Mediabook includes an extra DVD similiar to Best Buy's US edition. These bonus features have been announced so far:

- James Gunn in Berlin (29 minutes) [ exclusive ]
- James Gunn on comics (13 minutes) [ exclusive ]
- Comic-Con press conference (61 minutes)
- Deleted scenes (6 minutes)
- Making of the title sequence (5 minutes)
- How To Fight Crime [SXSW edition] (4 minutes)
- Making of 'How To Fight Crime (2 minutes)
- The world of SUPER (4 minutes)
- coverage of the SXSW premiere (25 minutes)
- all episodes of James Gunn's PG Porn (32 minutes) [ exclusive ]
- poster gallery
- 16-page booklet [ exclusive ]

I recommend reading my German news article for further details: http://ellen-page.net/newsscript.php?id=341 (Google translation)

If some of you are interested in getting a copy of the Mediabook edition, I could try to organize a collective order in due time.

Yeah, I'll take one! :agreeing:

When I read "german release", does that mean there's a german audio track? If so, I can finally force all my friends to watch it. ;)
[Update] Ok, ignore the question, I just read the german news entry. There is a german audio track!
Beware! Reading jeopardizes stupidity!

Thanks Dom! That sounds like a great edition, I should be able to just order from Amazon.de.

I've got another cool and unique item for my collection today.

80th Academy Awards Program Book
It was handed out to the stars, directors, and Hollywood big shots as they stepped inside the Kodak Theatre on February 24, 2008.
Limited and out of print, it is a true collector's piece. Listed inside are all of the nominated actors, directors, movies and much more.

I newly became a fan of EP so I don't have much but I am astonished!
People here are just awesome! I am really impressed and I envy you guys.
What I have is just a name on the fan listing page.
I think I have to try harder. :D

Congrats for finding a buyer for your item. I can remember that those VCDs (Going for Broke, Juno, Smart People) were available for less than 10 US-Dollars a few years ago. It's still possible to get copies of the German DVD edition of this movie for 18 Euro (~ $23) by the way. If someone is interested > PM me. At the same time, I would like to point out that EPO isn't a selling platform as it's stated in the board rules. Next time you are going to post an eBay link and you would like to sell something (EP related), it would be appreciated if you could obtain my approval before. Thanks for your understanding.

PremiereProps has listed those items for ages and they are still available on their website to date: http://www.premiereprops.com/advanced_s ... it&x=0&y=0. Looks like the price is a bit too extreme for most collectors. :sweating2:

The italian version of this movie (Going For Broke) is VERY VERY rare. took me an entire year to find your copy (because the video library where i bought my copy closed the activity). I've turned stations, movies sellers, libraries, sites of video rental ecc ecc. :D
But was very pleasure for me to help a big fan like you and your big collection. ;)

My apologies. I was happy to just brake even on it. ^.^ Being a collector seeking/selling rare works of my favorite actress, I figured it wouldn't be a issue in the collecting thread of the forum. Just trying to find some of her hard to find work while giving the opportunity to her other fans to directly own a film they may otherwise never get to see. I mean it's not a bad idea if you think about it... Maybe not in this thread if it's a show everything you own kind of thread, but to start another thread where fans can reach out and trade or buy the items there looking for through each other... I am a part of another website (band forum) that has a thread for direct trading that does amazing things for the fans. It's definitely a opportunity for Ellen fans/collectors that they are missing out on.

I have to admit i was aware of Ellen Page since X-Men The Last Stand movie but i never considered myself a fan until recently.Beyond:Two Souls gave me the push i needed.I'm not really into collecting movies so i try to collect other EP related stuff.Since i've started collecting a few weeks ago,i only have two things to show you.
First of all,The Tracey Fragments(my favorite EP movie) book.Of course i bought the 2007 edition with Ellen on the cover.

And here comes my Pryde! (no pun intended :hey: )

Image

This is an original sketch of Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde on a blank cover of X-Men Battle of the Atom #1
I've already put it in a nice frame and it's now decorating the wall of my room.
Now,if only i could get Ellen to sign it... :(

I have Juno poster with watermark signature of hers. And almost all of her movies except few televiosion movies and early movies. They arent authentic cuz place where I come from dont have much authentic stuff. But now that I am abroad for few years I will be hitting ebay once I get a proper job.
