Do any of you guys or girls collect EP stuff?

I've always been a collector at heart and right now I am trying to get all her movies on DVD, then I might move on to other things like movie posters.

So far I have these DVDs:
Juno
Smart People
Hard Candy

I know its small but I am a very new EP fan. I must admit that 2 months ago, I'd never even heard of EP. :)

What do you guys have?

I don't have all the DVDs, but I do have a Hard Candy poster.
This is where my signature will go. My signature will go here. It will be a good signature. You will look at it and say: "That is a signature."

Some of her earlier work is out of print but can still be had for a price, "Love That Boy" and "Touch & Go" for example. Other early works like The Wet Season and the Rideau Hall pilot have completely escaped my grasp, although I have seen clips which is better than nothing. :)

I'm a completionist.
(Yeah, that's how weird I am.)

Thankfully, the only other recipient of my admiration is Tool. And as their official releases are pretty few and far between, I didn't lose too much money there...

As with Tool, after seeing Ellen in "Juno" and then "Hard Candy" I was amazed at the versatility. Going in the blink of an eye from hauntingly beautiful and endearing to rip-your-head-of raw passion and power.

And again as with Tool, I guess there are others who do exactly the same kind and quality of work, but somehow they don't register with me.

So back on topic, I'm 104% sure I'm gonna end up owning all of her movies by the end of the year.

I´m bummed to say this, but I very much doubt so. I haven´t been able to find The Wet Season, Love That Boy, Wilby Wonderful and Rideau Hall and I have been looking for more than a year (keep in mind I live in Canada).
I´m checking amazon on a daily basis for Touch & Go and Love That Boy, it has not come up yet unfortunately as far as I know.
Still, I wish you the best of luck in accomplishing this goal, though I promise, you will have a rough year.

I see 2 copies of Love That Boy in the Amazon Marketplace if you are willing to spend $60. :) Most of the Marketplace sellers will ship internationally.

A while back I did a TV search for Touch & Go and got a hit that it was coming on Cinemax. I was pretty excited until I realized there's a movie of the same name with Michael Keaton about a hockey player and thats the one that was coming on.

Thanks.

I didn't say it would be easy, or that I would enjoy the way there.
Paying crazy prices and so on...

We both have pretty much the same wishlist.
The Wet Season and Rideau Hall, I'll purposefully ignore for now, as they were never officially released on DVD. But you never know...
Wilby Wonderful is available on eBay for under $10. But I want the Mongrel Media version (better extras).
Touch & Go is available on amazon.ca for $35.

Me too.

By the way, I found a Love that Boy DVD on Amazon.ca for 144$, I'm definitely not even remotely considering buying it ( I'd buy it immediately if Ellen was in a leading role), but if anyone else wants it... there ya go!

At those prices, I can wait for it to come on TV. :)
