Inception - News thread

I'm hoping Wally Pfister gets his Oscar at last for cinematography. I knew Inception would lose out to the Social Network but I thought Nolan had a chance at direction. The man deserves SOME credit! Fincher just let the script roll, he didn't really direct that much.

Another great commercial, Cisco are on fire! And it works too, I had never heard of all this stuff before Ellen was in the adverts.

What do you think about ‘Inception 2′? However, since Nolan said he's already working on a video game that would expand the universe, I'm afraid he has many, many ideas in mind which could also become reality on screen :rolleye: I thought the idea of the video-game was to use some of the ideas abou...

Inception - News thread

First off, I agree that it's unlikely Ellen will get nominated for Inception, the bit of text at the start of the article sights her as an 'unlikely choice' and I agree. It would be nice but it's virtually impossible for her to beat all of the actresses in that category when the movie wasn't focused...

Twilight has a ridiculously loyal fan-base so it always robs these ceremonies. It's pretty much an insult to anybody who is present in the film community. The script for the Twilight movies are usually banged out in 6 weeks with about 2 drafts, Inception took 10 years. :haeh:

Any time Inception is up for People's Choice-style awards it usually wins so :D but the fact that Eclipse is hanging around is not good. :totallysick:

I hate to say it but I reckon The Social Network will nab this one, the amount of 'Best Picture' awards it's picked up is borderline ridiculous.

Unfortunately Juno didn't win anything but Ellen won BEST ACTRESS! And with a large majority of the votes too. :D

Deeply saddened by the death of Pete Postlethwaite today. He was an amazing Fischer Sr. and was a tremendous actor overall.

Get the word out!

The new Facebook profiles seem to have been designed so you can create and add banners to the top (where 5 pictures are). It's easy enough to do, just use the 'Profile-Banner' app. I created a very basic SUPER banner which now sits on my profile and is also available on the SUPER Facebook fan-page, ...

They also seem to be populated with people Ellen knows too. I'm still trying to figure out who the little people were in the 'Tea Party' ad. Any ideas?

Not as deep as I thought?

I too found it easy to follow and I'm never confused as to what happened, just sometimes why it happened. However, I only ever confuse myself when I hear people discussing it online as so many people's interpretations can cloud your own vision. For me, I find it very difficult to watch the movie now...

The Return of the Ice Kids

I believe the key will be in the success of The Green Hornet. If it bombs, I doubt anybody will be willing to fund his 'ambitious' project. Also, I read in the new Empire that Gondry has set up the plot to The We An I and it all seems to take place on a school bus.
